Andrea ROCCA, Tiffany's Style

Andrea Rocca is aartist and designer italian, born and raised in Milan, the city where he began his professional and artistic career. After obtaining a diploma in advertising graphic at the IED Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, he directs his studies towards an advertising career, working free lance as an illustrator, designer and advertiser. The various and numerous personal and professional experiences in Italy and abroad have contributed to the construction and evolution of a new eclectic and creative artistic identity. Towards the end of the 90s the previous experiences consolidate in a mature style, confirming the choice of painting as the preferred means of expression.

Wood, canvas and commonly used objects are the preferred supports for portraits, historical brands and still lifes, works that Andrea creates in mixed technique with an extremely personal pop taste ranging from figurative painting to installations, from American graphics to abstract. The subjects of his works consolidate the artist's link to the world of entertainment, fashion, advertising, comics, cinema and music.Consecrated emblems of the star system are reinterpreted through an original and powerful use of colour.The incisiveness of the strokes and the audacity of the chromatic choice make the strength of the warm colors the true protagonist of the image.
